Finnish mobile phone manufacturer Nokia today announced the launch of two new handsets expanding its N series, termed as N79 and N85.
Both the new N series phones share most of the features which include 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and bright dual LED flash along with geotagging capabilities to see specific locations, a built-in FM transmitter, high-speed 3.5G HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Users can also capture DVD-quality videos, high-end photographs and save it on the supported 4 GB expandable memory card of N79 and 8 GB expandable memory card of N85.
Supporting Ovi and third party services, the new mobile phones also come loaded with 10 made-for-mobile N-Gage gaming titles. In terms of navigation, the latest Nokia handsets come equipped with A-GPS navigation with Nokia Maps application that supports a host of point-of-interest to access.

Encased in the Xpress-on smart covers, the candy-bar Nokia N79 comes in five different colors such as Light Sea Blue, Espresso Brown, Olive Green, White and Coral Red.
“The Nokia N85 was created to be more than the sum of its parts, offering a complete mobile entertainment package designed for connecting, sharing and discovering. The iconic Nokia Nseries dual slider design has evolved to become smaller and sleeker while integrating the newest features and services to deliver the best mobile experience to date,” stated Juha.
Resting in a smooth, sleek finish, the slider N85 phone bundles an eye-catching 2.6-inch OLED screen, 3.5 mm audio jack to connect with superior quality headset, and shows compatibility with Nokia Music Store in addition to other online music vendors, as well as USB cable to sync with PC and mobile music libraries.
Expected to reach the markets by October 2008, the Nokia N79 and N85 mobile phone carry a price tag of EUR 350 EUR 450, respectively.
