Mike and Bob Bryan won fifth U.S. Tennis Open men's doubles title

American twin brothers Mike and Bob Bryan on 7 September 2014 won the men’s doubles titles of the US Tennis Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, USA.

They defeated 11th seed Spain's Marc Lopez and Marcel Granollers 6-3 6-4 in the final match of U.S. Open men's doubles.


With this, the world number one pair won their 5th US Tennis Open and 16th Grand Slam title. Overall it was their 100th career title. They are the first pair in tennis world to win 100 titles. Their 99th title came with Cincinnati Masters in August 2014.

The Bryan brothers have won at least One Grand Slam for the 10th consecutive year. Before Bryan brothers in 1880 James Dwight and Richard Sears also won five US Open titles in consecutive years.
