The Lamborghini Huracan will be priced from Rs 3.43 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). Official launch by end 2014.
Within a week of its global reveal at the Geneva Motor Show,
Lamborghini has shipped an example of its brand new Huracan sportscar to
India for multi-city customer events. These spy pictures show a Huracan
being unloaded after it arrived at Mumbai airport.
Though the official launch of the Huracan is still some months away,
the company is quite keen to gauge customer interest and take orders for
its all-new sportscar which is far more rounded and less hard-edged
than the Gallardo, the car the Huracan has replaced.
The Lamborghini Huracan
is powered by a new, naturally aspirated 602bhp 5.2-litre V10 engine,
which drives all four wheels through a new design of seven-speed,
dual-clutch gearbox. It has a claimed 0-100kph time of just 3.2 seconds
and a top speed of "over 321kph".
Lamborghini is organising an exclusive preview of the Huracan at
the Four Seasons Hotel in Worli, Mumbai this weekend after which it
will move to Delhi for a similar event. Lamborghini says the Huracan is
the most user-friendly car the company has produced and it is likely to
eclipse the Gallardo as the best-selling Lamborghini ever.
The Huracan’s price in India begins at Rs. 3.43 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi)
