New Toyota Yaris - 2018

 Toyota Yaris compact sedan has finally been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 8.75 lakh for the base trim, while the top-of-the-line version costs Rs. 14.07 lakh (prices ex-showroom, India). Buyers can book one for a token amount of Rs. 50,000 at any Toyota dealerships across India. The deliveries of the all-new Yaris begin from May 2018.

The rear design remains quite subtle with long wraparound tail lamps

The front face is dominated by the big black grille which smartly integrates daytime running lamps.

 Powering the Yaris is a 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine which will produce around 110PS of peak power. There will be no diesel option available at the time of launch.

And to cool then in summers, the rear passengers also get roof-mounted AC vents which also have ambient lighting.

7 airbags have been offered right from the base variant. A bold and impressive move from Toyota.

Toyota Yaris Engine Specifications

The all-new Toyota Yaris is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 106 bhp of max power and 140Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 6-Speed manual gearbox as well as an optional 7-step CVT automatic gearbox. Toyota claims that the manual transmission offers a mileage of 17.1kmpl, while the automatic returns 17.8kmpl of fuel efficiency. Buyers also have the choice of paddle-shifts with the CVT, but that's offered with the top-spec VX trim only.
