Qualification/Educational Criteria : Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: Pass out HSC (10th) level exam or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board or College.
 
No of Post : 1175
 
Age Limit(in yrs) : Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 18 to 40 Years.
 
Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) : Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.5,200 to 20,200 + Grand Pay Rs.1,900/- P.M.
 
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs.150/- for General / OBC category candidates. Rs.75/- for Female of Haryana Resident only and Rs.35/- for Male candidates.
 
Mode of Selection : Selection will be based on Common Written Test & Interview.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission formerly known as HSSC is constituted as per the proviso of Article 309 of constitution of India, vide Haryana Government Notification No.523-3GS-70/2068, dated 28.01.1970. Through it was granted statutory status of HSSC vide Haryana Government Gazette Notification dated 28th february 2005. The Commission conducts examinations or interviews for appointments to Group ‘C’ services and can be called up on to conduct examination or interview for appointment to Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services if required by the state Govt.
